Are you also one of those people who can't go one day without checking Scandinavian interiors on Pinterest, Instagram and online blogs? Well, lucky for you, we're the same!  And so we're here to make it easier for you and we created a list of the best Instagram accounts you have to start following if you are obsessed with Scandinavian interior design.

It goes without saying that Project Nord's Instagram is the best place to start, but we don't want to limit you! Let's take a look at some inspirational accounts and get browsing!

What is all the fuss about

Now, let's back up a bit and talk about how the whole hysteria around Scandinavian design even started. It's not like it wasn't there and then suddenly appeared out of nowhere! But at some point, people just recognized it for what it is. A perfection!

Scandinavian design as movement spread out in 20th century and had its peak in 1950s.  Thanks to the artists like Poul Henningsen, Alvar Aalto, Arne Jacobsen or Maija Isola Scandinavian interior design got into completely different spheres. These artists are behind what we call a “Golden Age of Scandinavian Design” in 1930s.

What better describes Scandinavian Interiors as characteristics like minimalism, simplicity and functionality? It's easy to create with a lot, but it requires a bit of a genius to make an amazing design from a little. And that's exactly what Scandinavians are trying to teach us. Less is always more! If you want to know more about Scandinavian Interiors, you should give our article about all things Scandinavian Interiors a read. And if you're already in love, you can buy one of Project Nord's minimalist posters and keep on reading.

@happilygreyhome

Starting off a bit lightly, we're not going to attack Scandinavian bloggers right away. @happilygreyhome has been created by Mary Lawless Lee, an american blogger and influencer, as a shop for all beautiful interior decor you can get for your home.

Named after her original Instagram Account @happilygrey, where she shares her daily inspiration, travel updates and fashion moments, @happilygreyhome is a place where you can find inspiration from all around the world, but with that Scandinavian vibe you're looking for!

Same as all true Scandinavians, Mary loves natural materials like wood and stone, so you'll find plenty of inspirational pictures on her account. And even better, you can purchase them right away!

@uptostyleco

Originally based in Budapest, this creative team loves all things Scandi, so they moved to Copenhagen. And the nordic influence is obvious on their super creative Instagram feed.

Another web shop, however, their pride is the journal that has been the foundation of the UPTOSTYLE era. They are curators of Scandinavian style on all fronts, but their Instagram account is full of beautiful pieces set in Scandi interiors.

There's nothing else for us left to say, only that we are obsessed and you should be too!

@interiordesigning

A bit of a mix of styles, not solely Scandinavian account, but you definitely won't be disappointed if you click on this one. It sums up all the best from the interior design world with inspiration, trends and news.

Here and there you'll see a pop of colour, which is more than untraditional when it comes to Scandinavia. But, just remember that Scandinavians are lovers of good art and creative design, so they won't judge you if you still add some colour to your home.

@minimaliving

Poland, not being so far away from Scandinavian countries, has obviously been hit by Scandi influence these past few years. We all approve of their style and applaud them for choosing well.

@minimaliving has been created by Kasia Bedzinska, a Polish photographer of beautiful interiors and lifestyle, inspired by Scandinavian living. Her feed is a reward for your eyes and mind in this fast-paced world. It breathes nature and cosiness.

We guarantee that you will fall in love with this account! Just be careful, because you can easily spend hours browsing Kasia's Instagram feed. Oh, and if you thought beige is boring, you have some life changing moments in front of you!

Scandi_Interiors_Instagram_Accounts_Margo_Art.jpg

@margo.hupert.art

Another epic blogger from Poland! Margo is graduate of The Academy of Fine Arts, so there's no surprise in the fact that her Instagram feed is a work of art itself. But on a side, Margo is working on our favourite art pieces, posters. And she is the person who can literally bring nature inside your home. So, if you lack green surroundings and there's literally no more space for more floral decor on your coffee table, you can reach for one of her lifelike floral paintings.

Her Instagram feed reminds you more of a Swedish interior blogger. So, if you're craving some inspiration, just go for it! You'll find a perfect combination of green nature and wooden furnishings.

@normarchitects

Are you thinking “that sounds familiar” now? Well, you're not wrong at all. Norm Architects is the studio behind famous Kinfolk Gallery in the heart of Copenhagen. If you haven't yet seen this iconic spot, you're in for a treat!

If you're aiming for that perfect Scandinavian home, this Instagram account is the way. @normarchitecs is full of Scandi style interiors, clean lines and shapes, minimalism and light. Browsing this feed will be especially amazing after a long and busy day. It'll become your safe space, because it's literally so calm, that any trace of stress will be defeated on first sight.

Scandi_Interiors_Instagram_Accounts_House_Of_Grey.jpg

@houseofgreylondon

Moving from Scandinavia to close by London, but definitely not moving away from the Scandinavian design. The House of Grey is a showroom in the most pulsing european capital. The spectrum of their work is however far more vast. They work on both commercial and residential interiors, production and exhibition designs, interior styling and best of all, moving images.

The House of Grey team is very aware of design having an effect on our senses and they are working with it carefully. Their Instagram feed can't be described any other way than minimalist perfection. Trust us, you will be blown away by it. If you're in the middle of a huge decision of changing to minimalist lifestyle then this account will “push you off the edge”, so to speak. And it will be the best step of your life!

Based in Copenhagen, Oak is definitely a rare piece of art. And not only because it only comes out annually. As you can see from their account, they are “celebrating Nordic influence in art and culture”.
